What is "Gyoseishoshi"?

"Gyoseishoshi", literally translated into "Administrative Scrivener", is a registered specialist in documentation, especially application, notification forms to public authorities.

"Todokede-Gyoseishoshi" is a "Gyoseishoshi" notified to the director of the regional immigration services bureau to act as an agent. In the area of immigration procedures, "Todokede-Gyoseishoshi" plays a similar role to a registered migration agent, immigration lawyer, etc. abroad.

Steps for Assistance

Step 1
First, please contact us through the inquiry form and let us know the current situation of a foreign national who requires visa and immigration procedures, as well as the specific procedures they wish to undertake. (We thank you very much for using one of inquiry forms for the first contact.) Please also provide your preferred date and time for consultation.

Based on the information you provide, we will prepare for the consultation. At this stage, we may contact you via phone or email to confirm the situation.

Once we have a general understanding of the situation, we will inform you of available dates and times for a consultation from our office.

Step 2
Through the consultation, we will gather detailed information about the situation to consider what procedures are possible.

During the consultation, we will discuss the intended purpose of stay, details of your background (education, employment history), personal status (marriage, parent-child relationships), history of any illegal activities, consideration of necessary procedures, and possible status of residence. The content of the consultation will vary significantly based on the individual's circumstances.

Step 3
Based on the consultation, we will provide you with information about the fees and other conditions associated with the procedures to be carried out at administrative agencies, mainly the Tokyo Immigration Bureau. Once we receive formal application, we will commence activities such as preparing application documents.

In immigration-related matters, some processes can take over six months for the administrative agencies to provide outcomes. Even if you decide to engage our services, please keep in mind the considerable time involved.

Please note that depending on the applicant's circumstances and other factors, there may be cases where we are unable to assist with the services requested. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Our office's policy on immigration-related services

With regard to immigration-related services, we exclusively process requests from the individuals concerned or their legally designated representatives as stipulated by law. We are unable to accommodate cases involving third-party intermediaries, even if it is not business but personal intervention.

With the exception of certain consultations and translation/authentication services, in immigration-related services, we require mandatory direct interview with the principal party (either the individual concerned or their legally designated representative). It is a prerequisite that the principal party or their representative can communicate sufficiently in languages such as Japanese or English, and cases requiring interpretation services are respectfully declined.

We cannot engage in cases involving illegal activities such as fraudulent employment history or fake marriages. Kindly refrain from making inquiries or contacting us regarding such matters.
